Sites and Applications!

From day to day I mainly use two social medias for myself. First one being YouTube. To me using YouTube is great for many things. One if I need to learn about something like with a how to on something, then I could look a video up and someone who has done it and could show me how to do said subject I need help with. Then I use YouTube as well for background sound while doing work. I don’t need to watch the video. Just having it on in the background is good enough.

Then for my second app I use is Discord. This app is very useful when talking to groups of people. May it be just through typing or through voice/face chatting. You even get to make multiple chat rooms that could be made for subjects to talk with others who want to talk about a certain subjects with you.

Positive or Negative Reactions!

I have some negative reactions to other digital media. Mainly Facebook and Snapchat. Back when I was in high school i used to use these a lot. But as I got older I just never really got to liking them anymore. Facebook seems to be more of a ad haven now of days rather then a share your thoughts like it used too. Every time you would open it up you get swarmed with ads you don’t event want to see.

As for Snapchat it seems to be more of a app to hide form others. Where it gets rid of pass messages rather then keep them makes me uneasy. They say the message is gone when really its still there in a way. Again to me it just feels like a black market chat room type deal.

Use of Digital Media
